1 Samuel 10:6 – “Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you mightily, and you shall prophesy with them and be changed into another man.”
* This scripture highlights how the Spirit of the Lord empowers individuals to prophesy and experience transformation.
Joel 2:28-29 – “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit.
* This prophecy from Joel speaks of a time when the Holy Spirit would be poured out on all people, empowering them to prophesy.
Acts 2:17-18 – “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.”

1 Corinthians 12:10 – “To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another the discerning of spirits; to another various kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues.”

2 Kings 2:9-10 – “When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, ‘Ask what I shall do for you before I am taken from you.’ And Elisha said, ‘Please let there be a double portion of your spirit on me.’ And he said, ‘You have asked a hard thing. Yet, if you see me as I am being taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if you do not see me, it shall not be so.'”
* Elisha’s request for a double portion of Elijah’s spirit symbolizes a powerful prophetic anointing passed down to him.
Ezekiel 2:2 – “As he spoke to me, the Spirit entered into me and set me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me.”
